High blood pressure should eat less canned food
Canned foods are usually very high in salt and are used to extend their shelf life.
For example, one ham contains 240 milligrams of salt, which is saltier than two packs of pretzels.
Whenever possible, try to eat fresh foods instead of fast food.
If you could lower your daily sodium intake from 3,000 mg to 1,500 mg, your blood pressure would drop by 3 mm Hg.
